La entrega de los Critics' Choice Awards 2016

Comenzó la temporada de premios y se allana el piso para la gran premiación del cine: la ceremonia de los Oscar. Pero entre los primeros pasos de la entrega de galardones están los Critics' Choice Awards, cuyos ganadores se revelaron la noche de este domingo, y entre los que brilló particularmente el musical "La La Land", de Damien Chazelle, al quedarse con ocho premios, entre ellos Mejor Película, Director, Banda Sonora, Canción y Edición.

En la categoría a Mejor Actriz resultó ganadora Natalie Portman, quien protagoniza "Jackie", dirigida por el chileno Pablo Larraín y que además se quedó con las categorías de Mejor Diseño de Vestuario y Mejor Maquillaje. Al recibir el premio, la actriz agradeció al director nacional.

Viola Davis recibió el premio See-Her, en reconocimiento a su trayectoria haciendo papeles de mujeres fuertes y modelos a seguir, pero además se quedó con el galardon a Mejor Actriz Secundaria por su trabajo en la película "Fences". La intérprete llamó a las mujeres a valorarse por lo que son y no por lo que otros quieren que sean.

La chilena "Neruda", también de Pablo Larraín, figuraba entre las nominadas a mejor película extranjera, pero perdió el reconocimiento ante la francesa "Elle", de Paul Verhoeven.

En tanto que "The People vs. O.J. Simpson" fue la Mejor Serie Limitada, "Silicon Valley" la Mejor Serie Comedia y "Game of Thrones" brilló como Mejor Serie Drama.
