"Luke, I am your father" fue elegida como la frase mal citada más famosa del cine por lectores de Lovefilm.com, pues lo que Darth Vader dice realmente es: "No, I am your father".

En el segundo lugar se posicionó la conocida frase "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?", de "Blancanieves y los siete enanitos" donde realmente la bruja comienza diciendo "Magic mirror...".

En el tercer lugar se ubicó Clint Eastwood, interpretando a "Harry, el Sucio", por su "Do you feel lucky, punk?", siendo que la línea original es "Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

El cuarto puesto del ranking es para el clásico "Play it again, Sam" de "Casablanca", donde en realidad Ingrid Bergman dice "Play it, Sam.
