A los 69 años dejó de existir el actor canadiense Alan Thicke, conocido por su rol principal en la serie de comedia "Growing Pains" y padre del intérprete de la popular "Blurred Lines", Robin Thicke.
Su representante informó a los medios estadounidenses que la figura televisiva dejó de existir al sufrir un ataque cardíaco mientras jugaba hockey junto a uno de sus hijos, según indicó The Hollywood Reporter.
El hombre fue trasladado hasta un centro asistencial en el área de Los Angeles, California, donde finalmente fue pronunciado muerto.
Thicke también fue conocido por su trabajo como compositor de canciones para sitcoms como "Hello, Larry", "Diff'rent Strokes" y "The Facts of Life". Además, fue guionista de otras producciones como "The Paul Lynde Show", "Fernwood 2 Night", "America 2-Night" y "The Richard Pryor Show".
