Disco tributo a David Bowie ya tiene fecha de lanzamiento

El disco compilatorio que reunirá a bandas de los más diversos estilos para tributar al ícono de la música David Bowie ya tiene fecha de aparición y un listado de canciones definidos.

"We were so turned on" fue bautizada la placa doble que será editada el próximo 11 de octubre, según reportó el sitio Stereogum.

Entre los artistas que re versionaron temas de Bowie están Duran Duran, Megapuss, A Place to Bury Strangers, Vivian Girlsy y Swahili Blonde en conjunto con John Frusciante.

Otros artistas, como MGMT y Soulwax, se quedaron fuera del tributo debido a problemas con las agendas y conflictos con las grabaciones.

Todas las ganancias obtenidas por el álbum irán en beneficio de la ONG War Child.
