El comediante Cristián Henríquez resultó vencedor en el juicio por Propiedad Industrial contra los representantes del fallecido cantante Michael Jackson.

La Corte Suprema rechazó el recurso de casación interpuesto por la empresa Triumph International INC (representando al Rey del Pop), el cual buscaba impedir que Henríquez inscribiera el nombre de su personaje "Maikel Pérez Jackson" en INAPI.

El máximo tribunal señaló que los argumentos presentados por los demandantes "no permiten entender configurada la infracción de ley denunciada en el líbelo".

En 2020 el ex "Morandé con Compañía" Cristián Henríquez recurrió al Instituto de Propiedad Industrial para inscribir a su parodia del cantante. Pese a tener el favor de la entidad, Henríquez fue llevado a juicio por los representantes de Jackson.

Maikel Pérez Jackson celebró

A través de sus redes sociales Henríquez celebró la noticia con un video caracterizado como el personaje de la discordia. "Gracias a todos por el apoyo, ganó el humor", aseguró en la publicación.
