El Ministerio de Salud informó este jueves que en las últimas 24 horas se registraron 4.839 casos nuevos y 11 fallecidos por Covid-19 en el país.

Del total de nuevos contagios, 345 son asintomáticos. Además, 8.144 pacientes se encuentran en etapa activa.

Con este nuevo registro, la cifra total de fallecidos aumentó a 63.254.

En las últimas 24 horas se realizaron 21.344 exámenes PCR y tést de antígeno, con una positividad del 17,39 por ciento a nivel país y de 17,83 por ciento en la Región Metropolitana, alcanzando un total de 47.762.549 pruebas desde el inicio de la pandemia.

El balance del Minsal, además, señala que hay 332 camas críticas disponibles.
